Cores are items which are used to purchase Cosmetic Crates at the Crate Emporium.
You can select from a variety of over 25 new Cosmetic Crates, each with a unique set/theme of cosmetics contained within. Each crate will give you a blueprint of a random cosmetic in that set.
Cores are obtained when you scavenge Cosmetic Tokens. The type and amount of core you receive are based on the type of cosmetic; for example, Standard Cosmetics are scavenged into Standard Cosmetic Cores.
You can also get cores from completing levels of the Battlepass
There are five types of Cores you can collect:
Standard Cosmetic Cores - Used to purchase Crates that contain Standard Cosmetics
Exclusive Cosmetic Cores - Used to purchase Crates that contain Exclusive Cosmetics. You can combine 10 Standard Cosmetic Cores to create these cores at the Fusion Forge
Mythic Cosmetic Cores - Obtained rarely when scavenging Standard Cosmetics. Collect 20 to trade them in for a Mythic Standard Cosmetic Crate, containing a blueprint for random Standard Mythic Cosmetic.
Arcane Cosmetic Cores - Obtained rarely when scavenging Exclusive Cosmetics. Collect 20 to craft them into an Arcane Gate Key, granting you a blueprint for a random Arcane Cosmetic.
Fishing Climate Cores - When you scavenge a Fishing Cosmetic from one of the three fishing climates (Temperate, Tropical or Barren) you earn cores of that particular climate. You can then trade these cores with three new hidden vendors, the Climate Collectors, for any rare+ Fishing Cosmetics you may be missing.
Once called the Crate Machine, the Cosmetic Machine contains over 400+ Cosmetics!
The Cosmetic Machine has 2 pull tiers; Basic and Ultimate. Each tier has different Rarity Odds, but also different odds of you getting Standard vs Exclusive vs Arcane cosmetics.
