On MCC Island, ten factions representing the MCC event teams have staked their claim around the island, encouraging visitors to represent them. As soon as you set foot on the island, you’ll meet the Faction Master, who will invite you to pledge your loyalty to one of the factions. The faction you choose will also be shown next to your username across the server, alongside your rank.
While each faction has its own distinct style and personality and will grant different cosmetics as you level up your loyalty to them, your choice of faction doesn’t affect gameplay. You can change the faction you represent later, so don’t overthink it!
Each faction also has a base on the Island you can visit and a greeter eager to welcome you - see if you can find them all!
If you want to change what faction you’re representing, you can revisit the Elder Zombie. When you switch, any progress you’ve made with your previous faction is stored, so if you decide to return to them, you won’t lose any progress!

Your Faction Level and XP are associated with the faction you represented while earning it. If you switch to a faction you’ve never represented before, you’ll start at Level 1 with that faction.
Faction Levelling is infinite, allowing you to level with a faction as high as possible. XP requirements per level get higher and higher as you go.
Your Faction Icon evolves every 30 levels, up until level 300, when it reaches its final evolution. You can keep levelling beyond this point, but only the number will increase; your icon won’t evolve.
