MCC Island, like any live ops game, will sometimes have issues! This page documents what you can expect from us regarding communication and compensation when we have problems.
If you’ve found a bug, please report it to us! The sooner you let us know about an issue, the quicker we can try to fix it. For more information, see our specific page on how to report a bug.
Sometimes, MCC Island will be taken offline. This can be caused by many different issues, but here are some examples:
When MCC Island is offline, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on our Status Page where you can find official communication from us about the downtime, what it is for, and our current ETA for when the server will be back online.
When the server is unexpectedly offline (i.e. not due to planned maintenance), we might not know exactly when we’ll be able to get everything back online again. In these cases, we’ll clarify in update posts on the status page that the end time is a rough estimate.
The amount of time it takes to fix things may be much longer or sometimes even shorter than our estimate.
We’ll try to keep the status page updated as often as possible, but sometimes we won’t have additional information to inform you about, so we may not have posted an update for a few hours. Rest assured that the team will still be hard at work fixing the issue!
To reassure everyone that we are still working on the fixes, we’ll update the status page at least 3 times a day; once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening (UTC).
Sometimes, we may send out “apolomail” in your mailbox with compensation. Here are some examples of situations where we definitely will send out compensation:
Unless we specifically say that we will offer compensation, or the issue is in the above list, we will not be offering apolomail compensation for other issues or bugs.
